No longer happy in my corporate job, in 2013 I decided to go to nail school. Upon graduation, I worked at various salons and entered various nail competitions, all in an effort to learn as much as I could and to refine my craft. After a very busy year, I opened a salon suite and worked for myself for about two years. In 2017, recognizing the need for a salon that specializes in quality services and custom nail art, I opened The Nail Studio.

Four years ago, feeling burned out as a Starbucks Barista, I fell into the world of nails after my mom went to nail school. Sitting at the kitchen table, I played with her stuff and found a new career! I enjoy the daily challenges that nail artistry brings through perfecting 10 tiny canvases for all different types of people. Every day I learn something new and love being surrounded by constant creativity. Making the jump into this field was the best decision I ever made.

I always knew I had a passion for nails. During my freshman year of high school I began doing my own nails, and I realized just how neat my manicures were! During my senior year of high school I began apprenticing in a professional salon. Clients would return and request me on a regular basis, reaffirming that I was doing something right. Four days after my high school graduation I enrolled at Boca Beauty Academy and became a Full Specialist.

Beauty and art have always been a passion of mine. I didn't know how to merge the two until I got bored and tried to do my nails. It was at that point that I finally realized that if I became a nail tech I could do both. So I decided to take the risk of going to the Hollywood Institute and becoming licensed. Turns out it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Now I look forward to growing and becoming a better artist.

After seeing how many people struggle with proper care for their feet I decided to become a Nail tech and work hand in hand with a podiatrist and a dermatologist. That's when I decided to study and learn more on how to provide medical pedicures. I fell in love with manicures and all the art that goes with it. And now, here I am at The Nail Studio with an amazing team that are great at what they do.

After working as a receptionist at The Nail Studio, I realized I loved everything that consisted of nail artistry and also wanted to make a name for myself as a Nail Technician. I took a huge leap of faith and registered at Hollywood Institute to become a Full Specialist, and finally pursuing my dreams and loving what I do.
